Someone worth meeting, from your own church.
Knit is a quiet, invite-only place where Christian singles are introduced to each other. Everyone is confirmed as a member by their own campus before they can message anyone.
No swiping. No public profiles. Nothing on your lock screen you'd mind a colleague seeing.
Checked before anyone can message you
An invite gets you into the queue, never past it. You can build your profile while you wait, but introductions and messaging open only once your campus has confirmed you.
People who know you
Members who know you personally can vouch for you. It shows as an extra badge, and they never see your answers.
Your campus says yes
A small group leader or assistant at your campus confirms you're a member, or two ambassadors there vouch for you. They see your name, photo and campus, nothing from your profile.
How it works
- 1
Get an invite
From a member who knows you. Each invite works once, and their name stays on your application.
- 2
Get confirmed
Tell us about yourself, then your campus confirms you. You'll get a message the moment you're confirmed.
- 3
Receive introductions
Up to three a day, each open for 72 hours. Reply to a prompt to start talking, or pass. A pass is final and silent.
- 4
Declare intent
When you're both serious, you each say so. Nothing changes until you both have.
- 5
Court with counsel
Tell a pastor or leader you trust, from your own phone. Your membership pauses while you court.
Not a dating app with a church filter.
- No browsing, no swiping, no likesYou get a few thoughtful introductions, not a feed of faces.
- Only confirmed members see youThere are no public profiles and nothing a search engine can find.
- Hide anyone, before they see youAn ex, a relative, your boss. Add their number and you'll never be introduced. They're never told.
- Discreet on your phoneNotifications read "You have something new". No names, no photos, no "dating".
If something feels wrong
Every member is known to someone, so problems are rare. When they happen, a person deals with them quickly.
Report from any conversation
The other person isn't told. The Knit team looks within 24 hours and pauses the account while it does.
Invites carry responsibility
If someone you invited is under review, your invites pause until it's settled. So people invite carefully.
Your data stays yours

Knit evenings
Small, hosted evenings for confirmed members. The venue is shared with ticket holders 24 hours before.
Tickets from ₦15,000, booked in the app.
Pricing
Getting confirmed is free. Membership opens introductions and messaging.
If your church covers membership for its members, you pay nothing.
Renewal pauses on its own during a courtship.
For pastors and small group leaders
Confirm your own members in about two minutes a week. Leaders see campus totals, never names, profiles or conversations.
Questions
Is Knit run by the church?
No. Knit is independent and privately run. Leaders at your campus help confirm members, but the church doesn't run Knit and never sees your profile or messages.
Who can join?
Single adult members of the pilot campuses in Lagos, with an invite from someone already on Knit. More campuses open as each one is ready.
I don't have an invite. What now?
Ask someone who's on Knit (every member has three invites a month), ask an ambassador at your campus, or join your campus waitlist.
Will people at church know I'm on Knit?
Only confirmed members can see you, and only through introductions. You're hidden from your own campus unless you choose otherwise. Your verifier sees your name, photo and campus to confirm you, and anyone you hide will never see you.
What happens when I meet someone?
You both declare intent, then move into a courtship. Your introductions stop, your membership pauses, and you can tell a trusted pastor or leader. If it ends, you can come back.
